Tiger Security is a locally owned and operated company that has been serving the Mid-Missouri community since 2001. We are the trusted name for security, audio, and surveillance needs, providing services for both residential and commercial applications. Our mission is to be the best full-service security company in Mid-Missouri with the most affordable prices.

Our Founders

The original Tiger Security Service was founded in 2001 and quickly became a staple in the home security, audio, and fire control systems industry. In 2008, brothers Mike and Billy McClaren purchased Tiger Security after 7 successful years in the residential and commercial real estate business. With them, they brought a trusted name and work ethic that is the cornerstone of Tiger Security today. Under their leadership, vision, and innovation, Tiger Security has become the leader in residential and commercial security in Mid-Missouri.

Mike McClaren is responsible for the operations arm of Tiger Security and meets with prospective customers to uncover their home or commercial security needs. Mike is a graduate of Rock Bridge High School and attended Columbia College.

Billy McClaren handles the financial responsibilities for Tiger Security and is in charge of partnerships with suppliers. Like Mike, Billy is a graduate of RBHS and attended The University of Missouri, go Tigers!

Tiger Security offers comprehensive home security services to keep your home and your family safe and secure. Before we begin any installation, our team will learn about your security concerns and customize a package to fit your needs.

We install and monitor what happens in your home, including: door & window sensors, motion detection, glass break detection, CO2 detection, fire detection, flood sensors, lighting control, thermostat control & remote control using your smartphone.

Our Interactive Services, powered by Alarm.com, give you full control over your home security system, lighting, thermostat, doors, garage door & visual equipment. Tiger Security specializes in home management systems and can discuss all of the options available to you and your home.

Remote security control allows you to remotely monitor what's going on at home, arm or disarm your system, and start alerted when an alarm is raised. Our video surveillance solutions run 24/7 and digitally record all activities, allowing you to log in from your smartphone or computer to keep an eye on what's happening when you're gone.
