(BEC) is a leading Life Safety Low-Voltage Electrical contractor providing new construction, service, testing, and monitoring solutions for commercial Fire Alarm, ERRCS, Firefighter Surveillance, and Two-Way Intercom systems in the greater Los Angeles, Central Valley, and Sacramento areas of California. With a history dating back to 1995, BEC has grown exponentially by effectively undertaking high-profile projects throughout the greater Los Angeles area, and has expanded into ERRCS, Firefighter Surveillance, and Two-Way Intercom/Area of Rescue to truly become the Life Safety Contractor of Choice.

Our Process

BEC provides design, estimating, engineering, CAD drawings, plan check submission, permitting, installation of wire and devices, and final inspection with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). We take pride in being able to take on the design responsibility in-house, which allows us to save our customers up to 30% on their low voltage systems. This also avoids change orders to the customer, as we are not only the designer but also the builder of the project.

We also offer Professional Engineering (PE) stamping of our design as required for certain projects. As a licensed C-10 electrical contractor, we will submit our design to the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for plan check approval, and then pull on construction permit as the licensed contractor.
