National Security & Door, or NSD, has been a trusted name in the security integration and architectural door and hardware distribution industry since 1981. Our company is based in Richmond, Virginia, and we serve a wide range of clients throughout the country. Our Services
NSD offers a comprehensive range of services to meet the diverse needs of our clients. We specialize in security integration, including the sales, installation, and service of electronic access control and video surveillance systems. We also distribute architectural door and hardware products for new and renovation construction projects, with a focus on hollow metal and aluminum entrance systems.
In addition to our security integration and distribution services, NSD also provides locksmith services, automatic door and low energy handicap operator sales and service, and life safety hardware upgrade projects. Our team of experts has developed and patented a chain resistant, fully serviceable flush door pull, as well as a safe space/classroom lockdown mortise lock with a visual lockdown indicator. These innovative products have been designed to enhance the security and safety of buildings and their occupants.

Our Hours of Operation
Our regular business hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday, 7:30 am to 1:30 pm. We are closed on weekends. However, we understand that our clients may require assistance outside of these hours, which is why we offer remote support services.
