Our journey began with Jacob Slomin, who opened a small general store in Massapequa, New York. He recognized the need for convenient and reliable services in the growing community, and this led him to develop the idea of delivering kerosene directly to customers' doors. In the 1980s, we began offering home security services and have since grown into one of the nation's biggest home security companies, despite only operating regionally. In the 1990s, we expanded into cooling, offering homeowners and businesses cooling equipment, service, installation, and more.

In 1997, we introduced our beloved mascot, Alarmo, to emphasize our serious dedication to your security and safety. Today, Slomin's is one of the largest family-owned businesses in America, thanks to our tradition of satisfying customers.
