Russ Godley, the original founder, started H&R Telephones with his friend Robert Taylor, bringing years of experience in the telephone industry to the table. Russ's son, Jonathan, began working with the company during his summers in high school and college, learning the business from the ground up. Jonathan's enthusiasm and dedication led him to officially join the company as a service technician in 2005. He quickly excelled, taking on leadership roles in service and installations. Recognizing Jonathan's growing expertise and entrepreneurial spirit, his then-partner Michael Simons joined him in acquiring H&R Telephones in 2011. Jonathan eventually became the sole owner in 2017, continuing the legacy of excellence that the company is known for.
