Poor Customer Service and Shady Practices
Several customers have shared disappointing experiences with Multicom, citing poor customer service and unscrupulous business practices. One reviewer, Sami Amirah, gave the company a 1-star rating and claimed that the customer service was terrible. They scheduled an appointment with Robert to set up their security cameras, but he failed to show up or return their calls. When they finally got in touch, Robert was uncommunicative and unhelpful, telling them that the job would cost more and didn't seem to care about their inconvenience.
Inconsistent Quality and Support
Another reviewer, Nan Sie, gave the company 2 stars and mentioned that they had a good experience with the burglar alarm and medical emergency pendant. However, they noted that the services were not always reliable. The unit stopped working, and despite taking good care of it, they were told it was no longer available. Nan Sie also mentioned that they had to switch to another company, Life Alert, which offered similar services at a lower price ($24/month compared to Life Alert's $70/month).
